img_140.jpgScanvit Ltd. works closely with Canadian Forbes Medi-Tech Inc., the owner of the Reducol™ formula, trademark and patents.

Scanvit Ltd and Forbes MediTech Inc. have signed an exclusive licensing agreement for manufacturing, marketing, sale and distribution of Reducol™ in Finland, Scandinavia and selected European countries. The agreement enables the manufacturing of our own Reducol™-based products as well as the sale of Reducol™ in cholesterol-lowering functional foods.

Cholexit™-tablets were launched in Finnish markets during March 2004 in cooperation with the manufacturer Pharmia Ltd. and the distributor Tamro Finland / Pharmakon.

Cholesterol lowering Pirkka Reducol food products are the result of cooperation with Kesko Food Ltd. Pirkka Reducol yoghurts, developed together with Juustoportti Ltd, were the first food products launhed Finland. Pirkka Reducol products are available through K-Food stores.
